Our house with a slate roof developed a small leak near one of the chimneys (late spring 2023). Welte Roofing came out and fixed the small leak quickly to our great relief. We followed up with a request for a pro-active maintenance plan assuming we would be there for another 30 years. Welte gave detailed recommendations around the replacement of the flashing (two chimneys); scraping, prepping, painting valleys, dormer flashing and vent pipes; inspect and seal leaks in aluminum gutters; repair missing, broken or slipped slate. We accepted their proposal and rather quickly (which delighted us!) they got started. Their crew was dedicated (even in hot July!), polite, informative when querried, and left no trace of their presence at the end of their several work days. The general manager came by a few days after the project was completed to look at the result with me and to address any concerns that I might have.

To conclude, my personal experience is that Welte has demonstrated they are a company of the highest quality of service — from easy, clear and prompt communication, to the short-time wait for fixing of a leak, to a comprehensive and affordable ‘scope of work’, to dedication of their work crews (for set up, repairs/installation, and through clean up), and to standing behind their work.
